The New York Compromise, also known as also known as the Brothers' agreement, held 30th March to 7th April 2045, is an international treaty that was signed in New York City. The main signatories are the President of the United States at the time, Carl Drenson, and the governor of California Dylan Huan. The meeting was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
The objective of the meeting was to detail the transition of the United States nation-state to a modern trade authority, without the need for violence or rioting.
The compromise is considered a pivotal moment in North American history, as it led to the creation of the FTA, as well as of the Island of California. It also laid the principles that were followed in later conferences with the rogue entities, such as the Tampa Conference and the Houston Compromise. Turing2 is widely credited for being the driving force behind the idea of a peaceful, bloodless transition.
